Pretty amazing. I was just impressed with the assist on the first goal but then to get the OT winner (with Doughty and Kopitar on the ice) ... that's pretty amazing

Just the first game, but I couldn't wait for the other 3 lines to cycle through to get him back on the ice.

KIRILL THE THRILL!!!!

Ok, I know we can't anoint him the Wild savior just yet. But he sure as hell looked promising last night. Honestly, I think Fiala looked rattled that there is someone on the team that is going to be the star over him. I hope that doesn't make him go into a shell this season. Things I took away from the game.

1. The Wild won.
2. Kaprizov was VERY fun to watch.
3. Suter looked slow.
4. That Greenway/Eriksson-Ek/Foligno line looked good.
5. Talbot looked shaky, hopeful just nerves.
6. Parise looked fast.
7. Rask is still slow, but at least he is playing alert hockey.
8. Kaprizov is very, very good. (yes, quoting Russo)
9. Johansson looked terrible.
10.Bjugstad never looked the part of a 1C, let alone a 3C.

Fell asleep during the 2nd, but the only real bright spot that stuck out in this game was of course Kaprizov. Wild centerman were destroyed at the dot, Talbot was shaky at best and quite frankly was lucky he didn't give up 2 or 3 more. Overall play looked sloppy and erratic. Bjugstad pretty much picked up where he left off what he's been doing the last 2 seasons... (very little)

But yes, Kaprizov did not disappoint. He alone will raise the excitment level around this club for the next several seasons provided Billy can continue to add pieces.

I guess the time is NOW to start building around this kid, seems clear at this point that he is the real deal.

Would really like see what Zuccarillo looks like with him

You can thank Brown for gift wrapping that present for him then Doughty for putting the bow on it with that stupid dive. Kids going to be amazing though.

I'm not sure why everyone is acting like he is a 20 year old Gaborik? He definitely doesn't have team change advantage
